Where do the answers come from?

Hollin

From what your team already wrote. Every draft quotes your documents, help pages or past replies, and numbers each source.

Every answer starts from a shelf you already keep: your documents, help pages and past replies.

How does it work?

Hollin

Hollin reads the question and the thread, then looks for passages in your sources that answer it. It drafts a reply from those passages only and marks each claim with a number. The sources panel beside the draft shows the line it quoted, so the person reviewing can check it in seconds.

What counts as a source

  • Help pages and wikis, imported from their address and kept in sync.
  • Past replies from your team, up to three years back.
  • Documents you upload: PDF, DOCX, Markdown and slides.
  • Records from your own systems through a read-only connection, when you set one up.

When sources disagree

If two sources say different things, the draft says so and goes to the review queue with both quoted. The gaps report lists the conflict so someone can fix the older page.
